The house has been slowly progressing and at times seems like it’s taking too long to finish but I think things are finally coming together. Last week, Pheebs and I emptied the downstairs furniture outside under some tarpaulins so the floors could be sanded. I hired the equipment from HSS and Rick sanded the floorboards and then varnished using Ronseal Eco Floor Varnish. As you can see things turned out pretty well with only 2 coats on and the final coat will be completed once the recently installed coving & woodwork has been painted. Once that’s been done, then the dining room can be decorated and then I can sit back for a bit and enjoy things…. 🙂
