Just finished painting the front room this weekend which didn’t take that long to do. Ok it’s not completely finished but I’ll put the second coat on the feature wall and then finish painting the edges against the different coloured walls etc. Obviously when you’re painting onto bare plaster as I did you need a 50/50 emulsion / water mix to seal the plaster otherwise strange things will happen and you won’t get the finish! 🙂 On top of that I’ve just used two coats of full strength emulsion on the ceiling and the walls……. yay it’s all coming together.
