Ok, can you spot the real Dave? 
Yep, it was Dave’s stag do at our friendly Ashurst campsite in the New Forest for Beer, Meats and more Beer. Everyone had a good time and it was nice to catch up with some old friends (and I don’t mean that literally!). Still there’s only so much beer you can drink…..or is there?
The house has been slowly progressing and at times seems like it’s taking too long to finish but I think things are finally coming together. Last week, Pheebs and I emptied the downstairs furniture outside under some tarpaulins so the floors could be sanded. I hired the equipment from HSS and Rick sanded the floorboards and then varnished using Ronseal Eco Floor Varnish. As you can see things turned out pretty well with only 2 coats on and the final coat will be completed once the recently installed coving & woodwork has been painted. Once that’s been done, then the dining room can be decorated and then I can sit back for a bit and enjoy things….
